Dr. Aana Shah is a consultant psychiatrist holding an MD degree in Psychiatry from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad (Gold Medalist) and a clinical Post-Doctoral Fellow degree in Women's Mental Health from NIMHANS, Bangalore. She has additional certification in Trauma-focused Psychotherapy and is currently enrolled in formal training for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) under Swasti Institute, affiliated with the Beck Institute. She has a range of experience spanning both acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses while training in these major centers, and has specific experience in the field of perinatal mental health (i.e. pregnancy and postpartum-adjacent mental health issues such as postpartum depression (PPD), postpartum psychosis, postpartum OCD and anxiety, etc. She also has experience in the management of child and adolescent mental health issues and trauma-related disorders such as complex trauma/cPTSD, PTSD; grief and bereavement; eating disorders, etc.
